Built by someone who ran the walk-in
For five years I ran a little unagi-donburi shop in Seoul. My larder was a sheet of paper taped to the wall — and honestly, it worked. Just only when I was standing in front of it. Someone would forget to mark it, and I'd find out the next morning, usually from a supplier calling. So I'd come in on my day off, open the walk-in, and count the whole thing myself.
Larder is that sheet of paper, everywhere I'm not.
A count takes 60 seconds
OK, Low, Out. Three big buttons, grouped by walk-in, freezer, dry and bar. Exact numbers are optional — nobody weighs the olive oil.
Orders build themselves
Anything under par lands on an order, sorted by purveyor. Send it as a PDF by email, then record the invoice price when it arrives.
Food cost that stays current
When a case price moves, every recipe that uses it is recosted and you get told which plates went over target. Pour cost too.
Works when the wifi doesn’t
Walk-in coolers eat signal. Counts save to the phone first and sync themselves when the bars come back. Nobody has to remember anything.
